C1953 Platinum Performance: BLAST FAST
CST introduces a tire for the frequent cyclist who settles for only the very best. While the Platinum Protector emphasizes puncture resistance, the Platinum Performance focuses on performance. All materials used are top-of-the-line. A 60TPI carcass with a woven Kevlar layer provides superior puncture resistance and comfort.

Not only is the Kevlar layer invisibly applied just beneath the tread, the rubber compound is also quite special. The sidewall features a durable and incredibly strong compound, while the central section features a compound specifically designed for fast bikes.

This tire is the best choice not only for e-bikes but also for lightweight derailleur bikes. It's light, fast, strong, has low rolling resistance, and is incredibly durable. The tire is even lighter and more supple if you choose the folding version. This tire is ECE certified and can be used up to 50 km/h.
