The Big Apple launched the balloon bike trend ten years ago: comfortable cycling without expensive suspension technology. Air-cushion tires provide natural suspension. At approximately 2 bar, a balloon bike rolls remarkably smoothly and with full suspension. A standard 37 mm tire needs to be inflated to 4 bar to roll comparable smoothly.
