The Schwalbe Marathon GreenGuard (37-590 - Black with Reflective) tire is the granddaddy of all high-quality touring tires. The GreenGuard layer, made of highly elastic natural rubber, is 3 mm thick. One-third of the GreenGuard is made from recycled latex. The anti-aging sidewall can withstand the typical overload caused by underinflation for significantly longer before developing cracks in the Schwalbe bicycle tire.

Recycling

Natural rubber waste products (such as gloves, inner tubes, etc.) are shredded and then reused as the base material in the anti-puncture layers after several production steps.
