The Axa Snapper is ideal for city bikes and can be easily assembled using a brass and groove connection. Cycling is safer with a closed chain guard ; clothing and dirt can't get caught in your chain, potentially causing falls. This also optimally protects the quality of your chain. Dirt and moisture don't stand a chance, significantly extending its lifespan. The Snapper is attached to the frame using a mounting plate and rear bracket. Two rear racks are included as standard, one for a Nexus 3 hub and one for a Nexus 7/8 hub. The Snapper chain guard is suitable for 38-tooth sprockets and is available in polycarbonate (dark smoke).

De kast zelf ziet er solide uit. De bevestiging middels bijgeleverde beugel was een hele klus. Uiteindelijk gebruik gemaakt van de bevestigingsbeugels van de oude, te vervangen kettingkast. Die was een stuk eenvoudiger en meer solide!

Mooie kwaliteit, maar zeer lastig te openen. Hard plastic laat zich moeilijk buigen. Er zit ook geen montagehandleiding bij dus het is beste lastig om te achterhalen hoe de kast is te openen voor montage en wat je er wel of niet vanaf moet halen.
