Simson Crank Puller for removing the crank (the pedals are mounted to this part) from the bottom bracket.
First, remove the locknut from the crank. Then, firmly tighten the crank puller into the crank's threads. Then, using a ring/open-end wrench, turn the crank's inner bolt toward the bottom bracket. This will gradually release the crank from the bottom bracket.
